We would like to inform you about the benefits of using Rosedean House Surgery’s Dispensary for your prescriptions. Here are some key points to consider if you are thinking about using us instead of your usual pharmacy:
- Convenient location within Rosedean House Surgery: To the right of the entrance to the surgery.
- Out-of-Area Dispensing: We can dispense prescriptions for patients outside our immediate area (please inquire about the specific radius).
- Free Delivery for Housebound Patients: We offer a free delivery service for housebound patients.
- Medicine Disposal: We can accept and dispose of medicines that we have issued, but unfortunately, we do not have capacity to accept others.
- Free Text Service: We offer a free text service to notify you when your medicines are ready. However, please do not rely solely on these notifications.
- Operational Hours: 9:00 – 13:00, 15:00 – 18:00. During our closure at 13:00 – 15:00, we perform essential tasks such as stock updates and date checks to ensure efficient service when we reopen.
- Streamlined service: No retail sections or other pharmacy services causing further delays.
- Turnaround: We aim for a 5 working day turnaround from receipt of your prescription to your medications being ready for you to collect. We will notify you of busy periods or any other circumstances that may affect this.
- Remote Pharmacists: Our pharmacists work remotely and are available for advice by appointment only.
- Dispensary Services: As a dispensary, we do not have an on-site pharmacist for advice or to sell medicines.
- Dressings: We do not keep dressings in stock; these are ordered from an external company with next-day cut-off times.
- LIVI GP Prescriptions: If you have a prescription from a LIVI GP, please visit a pharmacy to collect it, even if you are a dispensing patient, as we cannot download these prescriptions.
