Do you, or someone you care for, have type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, or gestational diabetes?
Or perhaps you have a family history of diabetes and want to understand more about diabetes services?
We are looking for local people across Cornwall and Isles of Scilly with lived experience of diabetes and diabetes services, to provide feedback and ideas to help us shape the way we provide diabetes care in the future.
What’s involved?
We want to form a group of people with lived experience of diabetes, so we can ask for your help to provide feedback on current and shape future services.
If you join our group, there will be different ways for you to get involved and have your say, with both online / virtual and in-person opportunities available. This could include taking part in surveys, giving feedback in a group discussion to being involved in work to ‘design’ future services alongside our staff.
You will be able to get involved in ways that suit you, and to share your feedback on matters that are most important to you.
Register your interest
Please complete the online form by Friday 31st May to register your interest. There is also a section on the form where we ask you what we can do to help make it possible for you to attend.
We plan to hold an information session about the group and how it will work in June.
