We’ve been informed by Cormac Infrastructure of significant demolition and redevelopment works taking place near Rosedean House Surgery, starting Monday 22nd September.
These works will affect the area near the Cattle Market Car Park, which many of our patients use when attending appointments.
The project includes:
Demolition of several buildings (St John’s Ambulance, Coronation Building, ATS on Dean Street)
St John’s Ambulance and Coronation Building works began Monday 21st July 2025, followed by ATS building starting Monday 22nd September
Temporary restrictions to vehicle and pedestrian access
Temporary traffic lights
Noise and dust from demolition activities. Site will be securely fenced off and safety signage clearly displayed
Works scheduled to continue in phases
What this means for our patients:
Parking may be limited or disrupted during your visit
Access routes may change temporarily
Please allow extra time for your journey to the surgery
Cormac has assured us that safety measures will be in place and disruptions will be communicated in advance.
Rosedean House Surgery is not involved in or responsible for these works, although the surgery expansion is still going ahead.
See: www.onemedicalproperty.co.uk/microsites/rosedean/ for updates regarding the expansion project.
We kindly ask that any questions or concerns regarding the demolition works be directed to Cormac:
